
SFCU Launches Social & Cultural Fund 2026
St. Francis Credit Union is delighted to announce that applications are now open for our Social & Cultural Fund 2026.
As a community-based credit union serving County Clare, we are proud to continue supporting local organisations, clubs and voluntary groups that make a real difference within our common bond. Originally established by our members in 2017, the Fund exists to support social, cultural and charitable initiatives that strengthen and enhance our local communities.
Supporting Community Projects Across Clare
Funding is available for projects that fall within one of the following categories:
- Arts & Culture
- Physical Activity & Sport
- Environment
- Community Development
- Youth Initiatives
Applications are invited from community and voluntary groups, clubs, associations, not-for-profit and charitable organisations operating within the St. Francis Credit Union common bond area.
Funding of up to €6,000 is available per project, with an additional €1,000 available for qualifying Green Projects that align with our environmental objectives.
Key Information
- Applicants must have been operating for at least 12 months.
- Funding is available for new and proposed initiatives (not annual running costs or completed projects).
- Applications must be submitted using the official application form.
- Late applications will not be accepted.
The closing date for receipt of completed applications is:
5.00pm on Friday, 24th April 2026
